A property that sits at a prime spot along Highway 119 near U.S. 280 was recently sold.
One acre of land and a 4,000-square-foot building at 7150 Cahaba Valley Road near Greystone was purchased by Swicord Commercial Properties LLC, represented by Glenn Ponder of Ponder Properties. The seller, Trico LLP, was represented by Matt Gilchrist of Graham & Co.
According to Xceligent records, the purchase price was $425,000. More details about the new owner’s plans for the property were not immediately available.
The property was marketed as a prime redevelopment opportunity because of its visible spot in a growing area. It is located across the street from the Brookwood freestanding emergency room facility.
An extreme recreation facility called Next Levl recently opened nearby, and plans have been revived for a massive commercial development called Tattersall Park, to be built along Highway 119 between between U.S. 280 and Greystone Way.
