A group of local investors have purchased the medical office building Greenway Business Center in Homewood for $2.85 million, according to public records.
Medical real estate company Capital Growth Medvest LLC, in partnership with geriatric health provider SeniorCare and real estate firm Progressive Properties PLLC, bought the 21,425-square-foot building at 1280 Columbiana Road, Progressive’s Eric Rogers confirmed today.
The buyers paid the seller – an entity registered to real estate firm Graham & Co. LLC – about $133.02 per square foot for the property, according to Jefferson County deed transaction records.
Rogers, who represented the buyers along with Progressive’s Sam Brewer, said SeniorCare will relocate its geriatric medical clinic to a 6,000-square-foot space in the building in January. The space was formerly occupied by Cardiovascular Associates.
Other tenants of Greenway include Nephrology Associates, the Lakeshore Sleep Disorder Center and the SouthernCare hospice.
Walter Brown of Graham & Co. represented the seller.
