Graham & Company Leases 1.4 Million SF Air-Port Commerce Center in Montgomery

Graham & Company, a Birmingham-based full-service commercial real estate firm, is pleased to announce John Coleman, SIOR and Ogden Deaton, SIOR in cooperation with Allen Garstecki of JLL, have successfully leased Air-Port Commerce Center, a 1.4 million SF industrial facility at 2855 Selma Highway, Montgomery, Alabama    This facility was the former Big Lots Distribution Center.  Due to the retailer’s bankruptcy, this regional distribution center was closed in mid-2025.  The property owners, ARES Management LLC, engaged Graham & Company’s services in the leasing and management of the property.  The facility sits on 100 acres and is adjacent to the Montgomery Intermodal Container Transfer Facility site and Coca Cola Bottling Company United.  “This is a significant regional distribution center, and we are thrilled to lease the entire facility to one tenant so quickly,” stated Ogden Deaton.

Montgomery, Alabama’s industrial market is robust.  From small, specialty companies to national and international companies, Montgomery is home to a varied group of industrial companies. New developments in this area include a 160-acre Amazon distribution facility, a 50-acre FedEx facility, the 272-acre Container Terminal, a 715,000 SF Meta data center and Hyundai Mobis EV plant near Hyundai Manufacturing.
