Jerry Grant, CCIM represented the Landlord at Lakeshore Park Plaza in its lease to Milo’s Tea Company, Inc., bringing the building occupancy to 90%.
Milo’s Tea Co. has opened a new office in Homewood’s Lakeshore Park Plaza.
The company relocated approximately 50 positions in the accounting, finance, sales, marketing and administration teams from its Bessemer facility. The additional office space was needed to support the company’s recent growth. The company will take approximately 26,000 square feet, representing a major new lease for a local office market that is at a pivotal point.
Milo’s operations team will remain in Bessemer, where it recently expanded its 15.5 acre campus and has significantly increased its headcount.

Homewood previously approved incentives for the new space.
As we have reported, Milo’s has significantly expanded in recent years, and its products are now available in more than 13,000 retail locations across 45 states. The company has also launched several new products.
