A commercial real estate company purchased an office property in the Greystone area for its new office.

Pharos-Hunt LLC purchased 100 Village St., an office property off of Hugh Daniel Drive near U.S. 280 in the Greystone area of Hoover. The property features two separate office buildings and a parking garage.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ingram Tynes with Tynes Development represented the buyer in the deal, while Walter Brown of Graham & Co. represented the seller, Rime Inc.

Pharos-Hunt LLC is associated with Hunt Real Estate, a New York-based company that will establish an office in 6,600 square feet at the property.

The Birmingham office of Hunt Real Estate is led by veteran CRE professional Chad Hagwoodas we previously reported, and serves the Southeast region.

Harbert Realty Services provided due diligence and negotiated the Hunt Real Estate Capital lease and will lease and manage the property. There is 5,500 square feet of Class A office space available for lease at the property.

According to information from the company, Hunt Real Estate finances multifamily, affordable housing, office, retail, manufactured housing, health care/senior living, industrial and self-storage facilities.

The deal is one of several in and around the Greystone area near U.S. 280 in the past couple of months.
