Birmingham law firm Huie, Fernambucq & Stewart has announced it will relocate its Birmingham law office by early next year.

Huie plans to move two miles east to Pump House Plaza, at the intersection of U.S. 280 and Pump House Road. First US Bank completed construction of the Birmingham office project last year.

Huie will move from its current location at 2801 Highway 280 South in the Protective Center. The firm will occupy more than 27,000 square feet of office space in its new offices.

Philip Currie of J.H. Berry & Gilbert, Inc. brokered the lease for Huie, with Walter Brown and Jerry Grant of Graham & Co. representing First US Bank.

Managing Partner John Herndon said the move is the “perfect fit.”

“The new Pump House Plaza location offers many advantages, including a best-in-class office building in a prime location for both our clients and our team,” Herndon said.

Huie, Fernambucq & Stewart, LLP is a defense litigation firm based in Birmingham since 1952.
