Hoover Business Park, which is just behind the Carmike 10 discount theater, has a new owner.

A Birmingham-based company has purchased the 40,365-square-foot Hoover Business Park for $1.18 million, according to the deal’s brokers.
Hoover Business Park LLC bought the three-building office and warehouse property in the 2500 block of Lorna Ridge Drive from Florida-based Cobb Investment Co. LLC and Armed Forces Museum of Alabama, said Jordan Tubb, Graham & Co. LLC’s broker representing the sellers.
Engel Realty Co. Inc. represented the buyer, an ownership group organized by Claude McCain Moncus, according to public business registration records filed with the Alabama Secretary of State’s Office.
Engel’s Michael Johnson will take over management of the property, whose tenant list includes sports art designer New Life Art Inc. and document storage furniture provider Patterson Pope.
