BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — Graham & Co. has announced recent deals, including continued activity in Alabama’s auto industry and new space for other area businesses.

Mercedes supplier Central Conveyor Co. inked a deal for space on Powder Plant Road, while florist HotHouse Designs Studio leased space on West Oxmoor Road.

Elsewhere, event rental company Shaffer Sports purchased the former Long’s Electronics building on Fifth Avenue South.

Ogden Deaton represented the buyer, Shaffer Sports, in the purchase of the 92,000-square-foot, former Long’s Electronics building located at 2630 Fifth Ave. South. Southpace Properties represented the seller.

Walter Brown represented the seller, Alabama Telco Credit Union, in its disposition of the 30,000-square-foot office building located at 1849 Data Drive. Highland Realty Services represented the purchaser, Hunter Trace LLC.

DHS Properties purchased the 8,758-square-foot office building located at 158 Business Center Drive from Edmonds-Hyde Investments LLC. Sam Carroll represented the seller and RealtySouth represented the purchaser.

Central Conveyor Co., a Mercedes supplier, leased 16,400 square feet of freestanding warehouse space at 1016 Powder Plant Road. Jack Brown represented the landlord and tenant.

T. Mark Ricketts, MD leased 6,935 square feet at Vestavia Hills City Center. Dan Lovell represented the landlord and Veritas Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant in the transaction.

Tell Manufacturing Inc., a distributor of commercial locks and door hardware, leased 14,375 square feet of warehouse space at The Distribution Center, 200 West Oxmoor Road. Deaton represented the landlord and EGS Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant.

HotHouse Designs Studio, a wedding floral company, leased 3,750 of office/warehouse space at The Distribution Center, 200 West Oxmoor Road. Deaton represented the landlord.

Blair Logistics, a transportation company, leased 6,000 square feet of industrial space at 3600 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd. John Coleman represented the tenant.

Myers Tire Distribution Inc. leased 1,797 square feet of office/industrial space at Riverchase Office Plaza. Maddie Humphries represented the landlord and Jordan Tubb represented the tenant.

The 20,500-square-foot former Unfinished Furniture Megamart in Pelham leased to an undisclosed tenant. Sonny Culp handled the transaction.

Carboline Global, a world leading supplier of high performance coatings, linings, and fireproofing, leased 5,000 square feet of industrial space at Cahaba Valley Parkway. Tubb represented the tenant and EGS Commercial Real Estate represented the landlord.
