A Lakeland, Fla.-based logistics company is expanding into Birmingham, a move that is bringing 25 jobs to the area.
Saddle Creek Logistics Services will move into BN Park, a distribution center owned and managed by Birmingham’s Graham & Co. The company will use 225,000 square feet and be fully operational by Feb. 1.

The move was prompted by one of Saddle Creek’s existing customers and an opportunity to cut down on transportation costs for that company, which was not identified.

Saddle Creek provides warehousing, transportation, packaging and other services in a nationwide network.

Ogden Deaton of Graham & Co. represented Saddle Creek in the deal. The Birmingham Business Alliance also was involved in the company’s move to the area.
